Dolby Laboratories this week hosted Girls Who Code, a national non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology.
More than 60 young women visited the company July 13 and learned how Dolby creates and delivers innovative audio and video experiences in the cinema, at home, and on the go.
The field trip included tours of some of the more than 100 labs in the company’s San Francisco headquarters and panel sessions to inspire the girls’ pursuit of careers in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
