The Met: Live in HD, the Metropolitan Opera's award-winning series of live high-definition cinema simulcasts, will begin its 17th season October 21 will feature nine Saturday matinee performances transmitted from the Met stage to movie theatres nationwide. In addition to Fathom's live Saturday transmissions, encore screenings of each opera will be shown in theatres on Wednesdays, with presentations in both the afternoon and evening.

Flix Brewhouse announced today it will open a seven-screen luxury theater on Albuquerque's east side in early 2024. The 28,000 square-foot cinema will be completely overhauled to current Flix Brewhouse standards, including luxury electric recliners, all-laser projection, and Dolby immersive sound. Leased from Hinkle Income Properties, the new 720-seat Flix Brewhouse dine-in cinema brewery replaces the former Regal/UA arthouse.
