Cine Gear Expo Announces New Location for June Show

Cine Gear Expo 2008 has announced a new location at the Universal Studios back lot in Universal City, California on June 20-21.

More than 8000 participants from the film, video, digital media, broadcast and internet industries are expected to converge in Hollywood to participate in three distinct yet related events: Cine Gear Expo and Premier Seminars, Master Class Seminars and The Film Series Competition. The exhibition will bring together representatives in the areas of film, video, high definition, electronic cinematography and digital cinema.

The Premier Seminars will be offered at the Expo, free of charge to attendees and will run both days of the show at the Universal Studios back lot in Universal City.

The Master Class Seminar Series is held on Sunday June 22 at several local Hollywood Facilities. Hosted by top industry professionals and leaders, these nominally priced Master Classes provide informative and educational seminars and lectures on current industry trends and topics.

The Film Series at Cine Gear independent and student short film competition is expanding into feature film competition. Deadlines for submissions are May16. The Film Series will take place on June 19-21 at the Universal Studios back lot theatres.
