Deluxe Entertainment Services Group has announced a four-year agreement between its digital cinema group and Unique Digital making Unique Deluxe’s preferred partner for theatrical electronic content delivery in Spain, an extension of an existing relationship between the two companies that to date covers ten territories across Europe.
Under the terms of the agreement, Unique Digital will replicate its managed in-territory electronic distribution to Deluxe’s studio clients in the Spanish market, with Deluxe using its local hard disk drive operation and service support teams to lead and handle all content relationships as part of a managed distribution service. Hosted data center services and secured dedicated connectivity will be provided by Vodafone, which is also responsible for aggregating connectivity options to provide the best and fastest delivery options for the service.
The extension of the partnership between Deluxe and Unique Digital ensures a viable, long-term alternative for electronic content delivery across the region. Furthermore, working with Vodafone allows Deluxe’s theatrical distribution managed service to be more easily scaled in both reach and capability.
