GDC Technology is showcasing Cinema Automation 2.0 at ShowEast 2017 in Miami Beach, Florida October 23-28.
GDC Cinema Automation 2.0 features the SCL-1000 Centralized Storage Playback Solution, an integrated centralized storage and playback system designed to streamline content management.
The company says that with Cinema Automation 2.0 content ingestion is only performed once in around 30 minutes; then it can be shared to as many as 10 auditoriums for playback efficiently.
Playback stability and reliability is increased by up to 10 times when compared to traditional playback systems and has a 48 TB centralized content storage for up to 400 movies available to each auditorium, any time.
