Event services and exhibition provider, MatrixManagement, Stuttgart, Germany has purchased AV Stumpfl Wings Engine Raw 4K uncompressed triple stream 4K50/60 media servers for use in high-profile events and exhibitions projects. In addition, MatrixManagement has partnered with AED Display, Belgium for increased demand of servers and screens.

MatrixManagement use them regularly in projects including the award-winning Audi stand at IAA Frankfurt Motor Show.”
Wings Engine Raw uses a custom engineered SSD RAID 10-based system and total play out of maximum 4K using a150Hz engine. Wings Engine Raw is capable of processing and delivering content at the full 4:4:4 color sampling ensuring picture quality and color accuracy for the most demanding of installation and show environments. The 20 GBit network backbone in each server provides economically the best and fastest data transfer for the 4K environment.
Three streams or channels of true 4K (4,096 x 2,304 pixels) uncompressed video content at 50 or 60 fps plus up to 16 text and picture layers and up to 24 uncompressed audio streams is delivered. Content can be native picture sequences such as TGA or TIFF and even instant PNG image format processing.
The system is accompanied by AV Stumpfl’s embedded operating system, Backup-Manager, that features a dedicated EDID management and automatic camera-based calibration system for soft-edgeblending, warp, and geometry mapping, all operable by time line control.
