Screenvision to Present Lost Beatles Concert

Screenvision, in partnership with Ace Arts, and multiple-award winning music documentary producer Iambic Media, is bringing one of the music world's true lost treasures to the big screen with the feature presentation of The Beatles: The Lost Concert.

Screening Cyrano

Rising Alternative has announced the UK screening of Franco Alfano’s opera Cyrano de Bergerac, live from Madrid’s Teatro Real. Starring the peerless Plácido Domingo as the swashbuckling French poet alongside the upcoming American diva Sondra Radvanovsky as his unrequited lover and with a lavish period production by Petrika Ionesco, Cyrano de Bergerac live at the Teatro Real promises to be an evening of heartfelt romance and pure theatre. Acclaimed young Spaniard Pedro Halffter will conduct.

Cinedigm Signs Dave Stewart

Cinedigm Entertainment Group has signed rock icon Dave Stewart to bring a series of documentary films to movie theatres in a recurring time slot. Produced by Weapons of Mass Entertainment, the films in the Dave Stewart Presents ... series will feature Stewart and a variety of musical guests from all backgrounds, including rock, pop, country, blues and more, focusing on the art and process of songwriting, and culminating in a unique performance showcasing newly created songs.

Cobb Theatres screened the highly anticipated documentary I Am Bruce Lee on February 9th and 15th at select theatres.

Sound Minds

The Chemical Brothers will bring their highly anticipated concert event, The Chemical Brothers: Don't Think to select movie theaters nationwide for a one-night event February 1 at 7:30 p.m. local time. Directed by Adam Smith, the band's long-time visual collaborator and produced with 20 cameras at Japan's Fujirock Festival in July 2011 in front of 50,000 dedicated fans, this event marks the first time the duo's full live experience has been captured for audiences.  It is also the world’s first concert film cinema release mixed in Dolby Surround 7.1.
  
Once it is released Don’t Think, which is being presented by NCM Fathom, Omniverse Vision, Astralwerks and Black Dog Films, will be shown on more than 500 screens in 20 countries.
