Sony Renovates, Upgrades Post Production Facilities

Sony Pictures Post Production Services has finished the renovation of its 229-seat Kim Novak Theatre, equipping it with a new speaker array and film screen, rebuilding its electrical infrastructure and remodeling its interior. Sony Pictures has also upgraded its Dub Stage 12, adding Atmos features, as it continues a multi-year effort to expand and update its sound facilities.

Goldcrest Post Supports Three Sundance Films

Goldcrest Post provided post-production services for three films screening at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. They include Academy Award–nominee Ramin Bahrani’s documentary 2nd Chance, Tia Lessin and Emma Pildes’ documentary The Janes and director Ricky D’Ambrose’s narrative film The Cathedral. The 2022 Sundance Film Festival takes place as a fully virtual event January 20-30.

Released in 1984, the original Ghostbusters is among the most beloved comedies of all time and elements of the film, including many of its signature sounds, are etched in the minds of movie fans around the globe.

Vaudeville Sound Group Celebrates Fifteenth Anniversary

For 15 years, Vaudeville Sound Group has been serving London as a premier global post-production house for TV, film, broadcast, gaming and documentary work. First opened in 2006, the company has expanded to locations in Los Angeles (circa 2013) and Vancouver (circa 2020), and recently completed its 35th sound studio. Today, Vaudeville has more than 60 creatives in various departments, including sound design and dialogue editing, as well as automated dialogue replacement and mixing.
