Odd Brodsky Manages on Tight Budget

Cinematographer Matthew Irving and director/producer Cindy Baer had very little money to make their feature film Odd Brodsky. Irving has been the cinematographer on two dozen feature films, including Fox Searchlight’s hit romantic comedy Waitress and Lionsgate’s teen comedy Waiting, but when he and director/producer Baer conceived the story for the ultra low-budget Odd Brodsky, they were concerned about the limited resources.

Fixing Audio on a Budget

Producer Daniel Yost (Drugstore Cowboy) faced a big challenge when choosing a post facility after being told the audio on his film A Star For Rose, could not be fixed. Yost says, “I contacted several post house facilities and Alpha Dogs was the only company who said the audio could be fixed and still remain within my budget.”

Conceived by Chicago agency TwoxFour, the three 30-second spots – Maul Game, Records and Feelings – are packed with intense game footage celebrating the stars and glories of the team, past and present. The spots end with the tagline One City. One Team.
