I'll See You in My DreamsWoodland Hills-based Hollywood Software has signed a deal with Andrew Karpen’s independent film distribution company, Bleecker Street, to exclusively utilize Hollywood Software’s new Distributor 3.0 software for all upcoming film releases. The software implementation will be in place in time for the first of Bleecker Street’s 2015 film releases, I’ll See You In My Dreams, starring Blythe Danner and Sam Elliott, which will open in theaters on May 15.

Karpen formed Bleecker Street in late 2014. The company plans to release three to five pictures a year. Other upcoming releases include Pawn Sacrifice, starring Tobey Maguire and Liev Schreiber, which will open in theaters on September 18; Danny Collins, the Dan Fogelman-directed pic starring Al Pacino, Annette Bening, Jennifer Garner, Bobby Cannavale and Christopher Plummer; Captain Fantastic, the Matt Ross-directed film that stars Viggo Mortensen, Frank Langella, Kathryn Hahn, Missi Pyle, and Steve Zahn; and Trumbo, the Jay Roach-directed film that stars Bryan Cranston, Helen Mirren, Diane Lane, and Elle Fanning.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Bleecker Street and helping to position them for even greater success as they begin launching their slate of films,” said David Gajda, executive chairman, Hollywood Software. “We are continuing to discuss opportunities to implement our other services and software solutions with Bleecker Street, offering them even more flexibility and efficiency via additional products. For example, RTS—our rights management software—is a great fit for startup film companies and our new Hollywood B.O.S.S can provide additional full-time, back-end resources as new releases expand.”
