Russell, who was educated in the United States and England, is an automotive and visual specialist known for his technical skill, dynamic visuals, deft handling of talent and ability to craft vivid stories. His credits include Audi, Ferrari, BMW, Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen, Toyota, Chevrolet and other global car brands.
Man-eating sharks turn cuddly in a new campaign for La Quinta. Filmworkers and Churchill Studio provided the inspired computer generated magic for Swim in which a businessman is dropped into a dive tank filled with blood thirsty sea creatures. The campaign was conceived by DDB Chicago, and directed by David McNally of Company Films.
Accomplice Media has signed director Stephen Pearson for exclusive representation in the United States. A one-time advertising agency creative, Pearson has built a strong portfolio as a commercial director, primarily consisting of performance- and character-driven comedy.
Accomplice Media’s directing team Sherpas Cinema collaborated with The Richards Group and Jeep on a new campaign launching the 2015 Jeep Renegade across North America. For the campaign’s 60-second launch spot, Sherpas Cinemas’ Eric Crosland captured the epic adventure of a band traveling America in search of musical stardom. Featuring Brooklyn indie rockers X Ambassadors and their original song Renegades, the spot debuted on the iHeartRadio Music Awards show.
When Stern Advertising wanted to create a memorable Mother’s Day spot for Kay Jewelers, they once again partnered up with The Colonie editor, Bob Ackerman. Director, Harry Patramanis, captured the playfulness and tone of the spot. Ackerman then weaved the footage into an endearing storyline that conveys the emotional connections and family moments that make Mother’s Day special.

Nick Jones has directed funny spots for eHarmony, Sony PlayStation, AT&T, Mercedes, Walmart, McDonald’s, Kia, Heineken and scores of other brands. Original will represent him exclusively for advertising projects in the United States.
Phedon Papamichael, who is best known for big-screen cinematography on movies including The Descendants, The Ides Of March, The Monuments Men and Nebraska, which brought him an Oscar nomination in 2014, often shoots and directs commercials, where he can lavish attention on each moment and try out the vary latest gear. He recently shot and co-directed a branding film for the Infiniti QX50 with Codex Action Cams.
The Colonie editor, Bob Ackerman, and renowned director, Joe Pytka, recently paired up to create a dramatic spot for McDonald’s, out of Burrell Communications. Driven by realistic, gritty, cinematic style footage, the :60 commercial, entitled, Good Things, tells the story of a group of African-American teenagers hanging out on dark inner city streets. At first glance it seems that they might have some questionable plans for the evening. However, the story arc soon reveals the group to be a force of optimism, hope and the shared spirit at the heart of their community.
Big Deahl Productions has completed a new campaign, entitled EB Living, for Eggland's Best Eggs, through client Calcium. At the same time, the company has added post-production to its capabilities and Big Deahl was responsible for everything from production to post-production to final deliverables for the new campaign, finishing nine spots in total: two :30s, three :15s and four :10s.
Award winning photographer and filmmaker Benedict Campbell recently completed a commercial for the iconic brand Harley-Davidson. Campbell, who has worked with brands such as Nike, Jaguar and Mercedes, used Rotolight LED lights exclusively on the shoot.
