Wanda Cinema Installs Christie Projection in its 600th Multiplex in China

Wanda Cinema, China’s largest film distributor and cinema operator, has chosen Christie’s compact all-in-one, DCI-compliant RGB pure laser cinema projector, featuring RealLaser illumination technology, for its 600th multiplex in the country. Located in the southern port city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Haizhu Wanda Cinema comprises nine auditoriums, including a branded Prime at Wanda premium auditorium equipped with power reclining seats, surround audio and the Christie CP4330RGB cinema projector.

Cinemark Signs 10-Year with Cinionic for Barco Laser Projection

Southern Theatres Opens New GPX Auditorium

Southern Theatres has undertaken a complete renovation of the former Grand Theatre with the recently opened Amstar Cinemas 18 Four Seasons Station in Greensboro, North Carolina. With 18 screens, 12 of which were newly renovated, the complex features a Grand Premium Experience Auditorium offering the ultimate movie-watching experience. Opening to the public on December 12 in time for the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the renovation includes luxury recliners, a full lobby bar, and made-to-order food with in-seat delivery.

Cinépolis Pejaten Village Installs Christie Projectors

Cinépolis Pejaten Village in southern Jakarta is installing Christie projectors. This is the exhibitor’s first multiplex in Indonesia to be fully equipped with Christie RGB pure laser projectors. It houses five auditoriums fitted with Christie CP2309-RGB and CP2320-RGB models.

Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont Installing 200-Plus Barco Series 4 Laser Projectors

European exhibitor Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont is installing more than 200 Barco Series 4 laser projectors. Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, will power Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont’s new builds in France and Africa, beginning with its new theater in Sousse Tunisia, Africa. Currently, Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont operates more than 100 theaters across European and African countries. Together the companies will upgrade new and existing Les Cinémas Pathé Gaumont theaters to bring an elevated movie-going experience for its audiences.

Cineworld Creates Wales' Most Immersive Theatre

Cineworld has renovated its Newport Spytty Park theatre with three premium formats to create the most immersive cinema in Wales. Supercines Installs Ecuador’s First Laser Projectors

Supercines, Ecuador’s leading cinema chain, has opened a new eight-screen multiplex in the Ambato shopping mall equipped with Christie Vive Audio and Christie RGB pure laser cinema projectors, the first of their kind in the country. The multiplex lobby also uses 60 Christie Access LCD panels to advertise upcoming movies and promotions.
