On Tuesday, the Cherokee Nation Film Office will announce a new incentive program for productions filmed within the Cherokee Nation’s 14-county reservation.
The tribe will offer a specialized film incentive aimed at creating economic development and jobs in the Cherokee Nation, helping Oklahoma’s burgeoning film industry continue to grow. The new incentive will also offer increased funding for employing Native American citizens, as well as utilizing Native-owned businesses.
