The cinema device monitoring and data analytics company Cielo today announced a new alliance with Cinema Hero Solutions, the managed service provider for movie theatres. With Cielo, Cinema Hero can now ensure smooth operations and safeguard cinemas from costly downtime.
Cielo says it isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. The company understand that every client faces unique challenges. For Cinema Hero, a tailor-made combination of Cielo’s best tools was crafted to equip their clients with everything they need to thrive. With Cinema Essentials for core operations, Automation for streamlining processes, and Director to manage help desk support, Cinema Hero is fully armed to meet the challenges ahead.
Cinema Hero already supports a major U.S. exhibitor with more than 150 screens, all powered by Cielo technology. One standout technology used there is CineStop, which automatically turns off lamps in empty theatres, saving energy and money. (The companies did not give that exhibitor’s name.)
"I have spent 20-plus years operating movie theatres, and when I heard about CineStop, I thought, ‘If only I had this back then,’" said Cinema Hero CEO Melody Smith. "Training managers to turn off lamps was a constant battle, but CineStop does it automatically, independent of the TMS. It is a true game-changer and the superpower against rising operational costs. Innovation has always been our main hero. We aim to enhance the way we serve our clients, and Cielo is exactly the partner we need to power up operations and future-proof the theatres we protect."
“When we first sat down with the team at Cinema Hero, it was clear that we shared a passion for innovation. Their forward-thinking approach to solving challenges in the cinema industry aligns perfectly with Cielo’s mission. We’re excited to work together to push the boundaries of what’s possible for movie theatre operations and to see how our collaboration will benefit the entire industry," said Rafael Garzon, vice president of customer growth at Cielo. "At Cielo, we believe in building relationships that last. Cinema Hero’s commitment to innovation and protecting exhibitors’ margins mirrors our own."
