GDC Technology Limited announced today that it has signed an agreement with Film Expo Group to amplify its participation at CineAsia 2022. The agreement names GDC Technology as the Official Presenting Sponsor of CineAsia 2022, the largest cinema convention and trade show in the Asia Pacific region. CineAsia is taking place from December 5-8 at the True Icon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. GDC is located on the seventh floor of True Icon Hall in meeting room MR2.
GDC will showcase a complete product line of SR Series media servers, including the SR-1000 IMB integrated media block with its audio capability of rendering up to 32-channels of DTS:X immersive audio that supports SMPTE’s ST 2098-2 immersive audio bitstream standard.
Additionally, three types of Fast media servers will be displayed including the SR-6400C designed for the Cinity Cinema System featuring RealLaser illumination and CineLife+ capable of playing 4K 3D and up to 4K@120fps, 4K@240fps in 3D mode; the SR-5400C IMB, which can play 4K 3Dand 4K@96fps; and the SRC-7500 media player, designed for the Unilumin LED cinema screen measuring a maximum of 16-meters wide that can support 4K@96fps.
Also, GDC has added new features to the Espedeo Supra-5000 RGB Plus Laser Phosphor Cinema Projector to enhance the image quality and sound experiences, such as offering various built-in options for a 5.1 / 7.1 cinema audio processor and the option of a 15.1 cinema audio processor with a DTS:X for IAB immersive audio decoder. With DTS:X for IAB audio feature, audiences can immerse themselves in object-based audio technology for a 360-degree audio experience.
To further enhance the moviegoing experience, GDC will introduce DiveCtrl Dynamic Lighting System, a programmable custom light show to synchronize with the preshow content.
