Golden Village at Bugis+ has opened a new multiplex in the heart of Singapore. The multiplex boasts modern elements including a stunning dome gesture centerpiece housing the ceiling of the cinema atrium. At the two sides of the lobby, the continuous die-cut panels provide an eye-catching design element as it leads patrons from the lobby escalator up into the movie halls.
The house corridor holds contouring gesture walls leading to a total of eight spacious halls, featuring comfortable plush seats and a Barco cinema laser projection system.
“Bugis is an exciting place to be, and we are delighted to offer a new cinema that is refreshing and at the forefront of innovating what it means to go to the movies,” said GV CEO Clara Cheo.
“From the careful attention given to the interiors and the new menu at Azul, we hope that we [can] offer more than just a movie-going experience. GV Bugis [can] transform into a place where young adults can find a comfortable place to catch-up with friends or where families can get together for parties and celebrations.”
Following the success of the first Gold Class Express cinema hall at GV Funan, GV Bugis+ will feature two brand new Gold Class Express halls for the first time ever within one multiplex. Each hall has forty seats, up from thirty-two at GV Funan, and offers the option of single seating for those looking to enjoy more space.
The opening festivities will run through March 16. Tickets are six dollars Monday through Thursday, nine dollars Friday through Sunday
With the opening of the 15th outlet at Bugis+, Golden Village hopes to redefine the movie-going experience. By bringing in the Gold Class Express experience to more cinemas around the island, GV provides an accessible option for a luxurious movie experience and one that will not be easily forgotten.
