SGO and its Japanese reseller partner Kyoshin will showcase Mistika's advancements in finishing and color grading, including support for the new Precision Grading Panels at InterBEE 2014, November 19-20 in Tokyo.

The Mistika Post Production System is widely regarded for the way it can enhance projects at any resolution and frame rate, including 4K at 60P, HDR, EDR, stereoscopic 3D and even 8K. Mistika's diverse and versatile intuitive toolset is not limited to 4K, as it is already able to provide compelling post-production workflows to process and play at 8K. Unlike its rivals, Mistika doesn't just playback pre-rendered files in 8K, but also manipulates images as it plays them, providing the user with ultimate creativity in a truly real-time and interactive environment.  SGO's award-winning Mistika technology brings unique attributes to the industry with its ability to conform and edit, composit, grade and finish, and deliver in all resolutions and formats, while working at phenomenal speeds to generate real-time immediacy and interactivity.

Founded in 1961, Kyoshin Communications is headed by president Eiichi Imazeki, who says, “We enhanced our portfolio of products with Mistika over a year ago now, which has proven to be a very exciting move for us. In preparation for the broadcasting in 8K of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, many productions here in Japan have already begun the process of capturing footage in 4K, with HD shoots becoming less of the norm.  What is incredible about Mistika is that it can even manipulate 8K images, and its development and performance-capabilities increase day by day. SGO's innovation enables artists to realistically achieve the highest quality work for their projects."

He concludes, "Furthermore, Mistika can be utilized not only for feature films, but for any market, such as the broadcasting, entertainment, sport, and medical sectors, and we are delighted to showcase the advanced Mistika system with its truly unique image quality. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our booth at InterBEE and introducing them to the excellent Mistika system which is currently serving growing high-end demand and is the perfect technology for the Japanese marketplace."

Geoff Mills, SGO's director of global sales and operations, who will also be at the exhibition says, "With a secure foothold in the Japanese market, SGO already has important customers in Japan who rely on its innovative Mistika technology. InterBEE is an excellent platform whereby we can demonstrate Mistika's captivating capabilities and tremendous speed to a discerning audience. SGO's rapid development surpasses the threshold of pioneering innovation, and remains steps ahead, consequently future-proofing investors in its unprecedented advanced technology, today."
