Technicolor Commits to Ambitious Emissions Reduction Targets

Technicolor has announced its commitment to the Science Based Targets Initiative’s Net-Zero Standard and the Business Ambition for 1.5°, to reduce business emissions. The Science Based Targets initiative is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reductions targets in line with the latest climate science. The goal is for companies across the world to halve near-term emissions before 2030 and to achieve net-zero emissions before 2050.

The company is therefore setting emission reduction targets and a roadmap for reaching them.

Last year, Technicolor was awarded the Platinum Medal in Highest Recognition for Sustainability Leadership by EcoVadis, placing it in the top one percent of companies of its industry.
