Continuing to broaden its East Coast footprint, FuseFX has added two veteran visual effects supervisor and a producer to its New York team.
Jeff Wozniak brings experience in both television and features—the latter including blockbusters such as Star Trek, Transformers and The Avengers—across an entertainment industry career dating to 1994. He is supervising visual effects production for two new series, Bull (CBS) and The Son (AMC), as well as the Amazon Studios feature The Wall.
John Miller has worked in visual effects and post-production in the New York area for more than 20 years, serving in artistic, managerial and production roles. His recent credits include the main-on-end title sequence for Avengers: Age of Ultron and visual effects for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as the documentary television series Battles BC. At FuseFX, he is serving as on-set supervisor and VFX supervisor for the new Amazon crime drama Sneaky Pete. He is also contributing to the series ABC Notorious.
FuseFX New York has also added VFX producer Lauren Montuori. Her career in visual effects spans more than 10 years in the New York area, and includes work on the films The Girl on the Train and Winter’s Tale.

We’re excited to add their drive, passion and dedication to our team.”
Wozniak said that he is thrilled to join FuseFX and is a longtime admirer of its work. “I appreciate FuseFX’s laser-like focus on quality and efficiency, and the way the company is able to synthesize those core values,” he said. “They have an extremely well-developed pipeline that allows artists, supervisors and producers more time to focus on delivering a great product, and ultimately achieving the client’s vision.”
Wozniak began his career in sound with Lucasfilm’s THX division, but soon transitioned to visual effects and spent 12 years at Industrial Light & Magic. His credits there included Star Wars (Episodes I, II, and III), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, Star Trek, Avatar, Rango, the three Transformers features and The Avengers.
He served as digital supervisor on Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. More recently, he has worked as a VFX supervisor on a number of television series including Blindspot, Limitless and Quantico.
Miller began his career as a visual effects artist and motion graphics designer with New York post house Manhattan Transfer. He continued in similar roles with other post facilities and boutiques with credits encompassing features, television and commercials. He also spent four years as creative director, executive producer and general manager at Point 360, New York. In recent years, he has returned his focus to creative and artistic roles.
Miller sees his post at FuseFX as an opportunity to help directors, producers and writers use visual effects as effective storytelling tools. “FuseFX has streamlined the process of producing visual effects across the board,” he says. “That allows our supervisors and artists the freedom to focus on the creative needs of the production and the fun of producing great effects.”
