Netflix Dramatically Out Produced Amazon in 2019, Study Says

Netflix in 2019 launched about nine times as much original programming as its chief video-streaming rival Amazon, reflecting the divergent business models of the two companies, a new study shows. Last year, Netflix released 2,701 hours’ worth of original programming, compared to just 314 hours for Amazon Prime Video, according to the Omdia Original Online Production Report – 2020.

Cinematic Media Finishes El Club Season One

Post-production finishing for the first season of El Club, Netflix’s new young adult dramedy, was recently completed at Cinematic Media in Mexico City. NYWIFT Announces Third Annual Online Shorts Festival

Members are invited to submit their short films, TV pilots and webisodes to the festival, which will run on GoIndieTV.com and on Roku for public viewing in early 2020.
