National CineMedia and Spotlight Cinema Networks announced a strategic sales relationship, the Elevate Cinema Network. This collaboration will combine nearly 1,500 premier NCM screens with Spotlight’s existing premier network of more than 1,200 screens to bring Elevate’s network to 2,700 blue chip screens available for cinema advertising through Spotlight. Elevate will provide unprecedented reach and recall to brands targeting the upscale, educated, adult demographic with disposable income.

Tony Award winning actress Tonya Pinkins (Women of the Movement, Fear the Walking Dead) will premiere her directorial debut film Red Pill on April 1 at 7:30 pm in the Harlem Film House Metaverse. Director and producer Warrington Hudlin (House Party, Boomerang) will moderate a live Q&A with Pinkins following the screening.
Lotus Cinemas, an international and independent film theatre, is set to open on March 25 at Parkside Town Commons in Cary, about 18 miles from Durham, North Carolina. The theatre is a new concept and is the brainchild of Paragon Theatres’ co-CEOs Michael Whalen and Michael Wilson.

Roadside Attractions and Samuel Goldwyn Films have acquired writer/director Valérie Lemercier's film Aline for an early 2022 U.S. theatrical release. Lemercier also plays the title character at ages 5, 12 and into adulthood.
