The company recently launched what Axel Ericson, the founder and owner, feels is the first true 4K infrastructure on the East Coast for full 4K digital cinema finishing, including a new, landmark audio mixing environment.

Nugen Audio Adds Timecode to VisLM

Nugen Audio has added a timecode feature to its VisLM visual loudness monitoring plug-in. The timecode feature makes it possible to relate the loudness parameters directly to timecode references, giving audio engineers and editors a clear frame-accurate position for any alerts, true-peak overs, maximum values, and other indicators to picture.

Digital Arts Mixes Sound on Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine

Digital Arts in New York City recently installed a new Meyer Sound cinema monitoring system in its new post-production theatre. The system has already been used on such projects as Woody Allen’s forthcoming film Blue Jasmine, and the recent HBO movie Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream.

HPA Opens Call for Entries for Eighth Annual Awards
