NYWIFT Announces Board of Directors Election Results

New York Women in Film & Television has announced the results of its 2018 board of directors election. As a nonprofit 501c3 public charity, NYWIFT is governed by an 18-member board of directors. Board members serve on committees in the areas of development, membership, communications, programming and special events. The board is elected by the membership. Six spots on the board have been filled, with four returning members and two new members.

“The active participation, creativity, and dedication of our board members is key to New York Women in Film & Television’s success and growth as an organization,” said NYWIFT board president Simone Pero. “We are grateful for the time and effort the returning board members have given our organization thus far, and we look forward to welcoming two highly-accomplished new members, Leslie Fields-Cruz and Yvonne Russo, to the team.”

Maria Miles (Entertainment Attorney)
