Ci Media Cloud, a cloud-based media management and collaboration solution from Sony that allows users to capture, backup, review, transform, and run streamlined post-production workflows, has updated its offerings to include a plan optimized for small and medium businesses and added functionality including Ci Transfer, a new desktop file transfer app, and enhanced support for Dolby Atmos audio files.

Phosphene, the award-winning visual effects and design studio, served as the principal visual effects house for FX’s critically acclaimed mystery series A Murder at the End of the World. Created, written, and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, A Murder at the End of the World centers on a Gen Z amateur sleuth, Darby Hart (Emma Corrin), who is working to solve a murder at a secluded luxury hotel in Iceland during a furious snowstorm. The series also stars Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, Alice Braga, and Marling, herself.

Cinépolis Deploying Unique X’s MovieTransit in Mexico

Cinépolis is deploying Unique X’s MovieTransit network in Mexico. All 6,821 Cinépolis screens throughout Mexico will be connected. This multi-year agreement marks the roll out of Unique X’s electronic network for fast, efficient and reliable delivery of feature film and trailer content to all Cinépolis locations across Mexico, increasing the number of connected sites to nearly 800 in the territory and 3,500 worldwide.
