Barry Ziehl has been named senior vice president, public affairs and strategic initiatives for Warner Bros. Entertainment, it was announced by Dee Dee Myers, executive vice president, worldwide corporate communications and public affairs, Warner Bros. Ziehl, who currently oversees worldwide public relations and marketing for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, will assume his new responsibilities in the coming weeks and report directly to Myers.

A recognized expert in strategic technological design, development and implementation, the addition of Rosen comes as Digital Domain intensifies its pursuit of innovation and the latest in Visual Effects technology. Rosen will report to O.D Welch, president, Digital Domain.

NCM Names England CEO, Schneider Chairman

National CineMedia has appointed Andrew J. England, former executive vice president and chief marketing officer of MillerCoors as chief executive officer and director, effective immediately. As previously announced, concurrently, Scott N. Schneider, the company’s lead director, has been appointed chairman of the board. Current chairman, CEO and president Kurt C. Hall will retire and serve as an advisor to the board and CEO in a 24-month consulting role.

Father, Son Join Sony Pictures Post

Father and son re-recording mixers Michael and Christian Minkler have joined the growing roster of sound talent at Sony Pictures Post Production Services. The Minklers, who mixed the current Columbia Pictures release Concussion in Sony Pictures’ Burt Lancaster Theatre, have been working at the studio since last year, but are now on a formal basis. The pair previously mixed Insurgent on the Sony lot and are currently collaborating on The Hateful Eight.
