Moving Image Technologies has shipped its first two MovEsports for SNDBX eight-cart gaming systems for the Esports market to WyoMovies at the exhibitor’s Capitol City and Studio City locations in Wyoming.

In what many referred to as a transition year for the industry, the Digital Cinema Distribution Coalition said it managed record-breaking achievements in 2022 with new goals exceeded. PVR Cinemas has formed an exclusive partnership with Visa, the official payments technology partner of FIFA to convert eleven cinemas in eight cities into Visa FIFA World Cup 2022 hubs and showcase two key matches live on screen – the third-place quarters and finals on December 17 and 18. Both PVR and Visa will be inviting their clients for the live screening of these matches exclusively at these selected PVR Cinemas.
Imax, Pathe Live Indochine Concert French Box Office Success
Imax and Pathe Live recently brought the French pop-rock band Indochine to Imax screens. It was the first recorded music event to be released through the Filmed for Imax program and topped the French box office in wide release surpassing Disney/Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on the same day. Continuing with Imax-exclusive encores throughout the weekend, the concert film was also the top new opener in the market.
