KNCC Installs Unique X RosettaBridge TMS

The Kuwait National Cinema Company has installed Unique X’s RosettaBridge theatre management systems product suite within the Kuwaiti territory, enabling KNCC theatres, operating under the Cinescape brand, to automate and centrally manage its theatre portfolio, while automating much of the daily booth operations. The technology package also includes a Basekey key digital messaging system.

Influx Extends Technology Support Offer for African Cinemas

Ford v Ferrari Releasing in ScreenX, 4DX

CJ4DPlex and The Walt Disney Studios have announced the release of 20th Century Fox’s Ford v Ferrari in the 270-degree, panoramic ScreenX format. Ford v Ferrari in ScreenX will be coming to theatres worldwide beginning November 13 and will be releasing on 270 screens, across 27 countries, including 32 screens in the U.S. with Regal Cinemas, B&B Theatres and CGV Cinemas. The film opens in the U.S. on November 15.

Visual Data Media Services Opens 4K Screening Room

Visual Data Media Services, the West London provider of digital supply chain services to global content owners and distributors, has announced the opening of a new digital screening room. The new facility is fully 4K and Dolby Atmos capable and comprises a 10-seat theatre built around a NEC 4K projector and fed by a Doremi digital cinema server. A Dolby Atmos CP950 sound processor is linked to JBL speakers and Crown amplifiers.
