About Nick Dager

Editor & Publisher Nick Dager is an award-winning journalist who has reported on film and television production for more than twenty years. In the early 1980s he was senior editor at Millimeter magazine where he chronicled the gradual shift in professional production from film cameras to video cameras.

In the late 1980s as the founding editor of Post magazine he detailed the early days of the transition from linear to non-linear editing. In the 1990s, as the editor of AV Video Multimedia Producer magazine, he reported on the increasing importance of dynamic media in the global communications strategies of Fortune 500 companies.

He has given speeches on new technology at the Consumer Electronics Show and at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York City. He has moderated technology panel discussions at the National Association of Broadcasters convention and at the Audio Engineering Society's annual conference.

He was a charter member of the Digital Cinema Alliance formed by the International Communications Industries Association.

Now with Digital Cinema Report, his focus is on the incredible changes taking place in the ways that moving pictures are delivered, distributed and displayed.
