Erika W. Burton has joined Digital Domain as executive vice president/general manager. Burton joins the team working on long-term company goals and new initiatives, with her primary focus on production, sales and marketing. She will report to O.D Welch, president, Digital Domain.

A veteran of the visual effects and animation industries, Burton’s career has spanned more than twenty years. Most recently a Studio Executive at DreamWorks Animation, she also previously worked at other top tier entertainment studios, including Disney, ILM and Rhythm & Hues. She is also a member of Visual Effects Society and the Producers Guild of America, and a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles.
