FilmLight has appointed Restar Communications Corporation as its local reseller in Japan, effective immediately.
The companies say new partnership strengthens FilmLight’s presence in Japan, with local language support and a personalized service which will ensure FilmLight's innovative solutions are not only accessible but can be tailored to meet the unique requirements of customers in the region. Restar will also utilize its new training facility in Tokyo to showcase its breadth of color management expertise and support the country’s growing color community.

The strategic partnership will be led by Restar Communications’ accomplished managers, Shinpei Takoshima and Koji Nagumo, who will work closely with Koichi Matsui, a seasoned member of FilmLight’s sales and support team in Japan.
“We feel this partnership will allow us to get closer to the vibrant Japanese broadcast, commercial and film communities and provide elevated support for local projects,” said Rasfeld.
