GDC Technology Limited exhibited it range of digital cinema systems at ShowEast 2014 in Hollywood, Florida, October 27-30. These included systems such as its SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Block, Portable Storage, Enterprise Storage, and the new Enterprise Storage Plus.
Also on display were the new CLA-2000 Content Library Adapter and the QMS-1000 Quality Management System, which is designed for cinema screening quality monitoring and control. It performs automatic monitor and data analysis of luminance, chromaticity and sound-pressure level with reports in multiple formats and carries out intelligent and automatic adjustment to ensure a high quality movie experience. Moreover, it can be integrated seamlessly with GDC Technology’s TMS-1000 Theatre Management System.
GDC also touted the fact that its Virtual Print Fee program has successfully been implemented in the North American and Asian markets, and has also been provided to Latin American exhibitors. Coming into the market with more than six years of experience and managing close to 5,000 screens across approximately 700 VPF agreements with worldwide content distributors and exhibitors, GDC DCN provides an extremely practical and efficient VPF program for the Latin American market.
GDC also offered a wide range of product demonstrations and technical training sessions at ShowEast to allow visitors to experience its entire spectrum of digital cinema offerings.
