Christie’s Jack Kline to Receive the 2014 Ken Mason Inter-Society Award
The Inter-Society for the Enhancement of Cinema Presentation is pleased to announce that Jack Kline, chairman, president and CEO of Christie’s operating companies, will receive the 2014 Ken Mason Inter-Society Award. Christie to Showcase 4K Laser Projection in Dolby 3D at Upcoming Trade Events
Christie today announced that it will demonstrate its most advanced laser projection architecture and Dolby 3D in the Christie Innovation Theaters in Las Vegas during CinemaCon 2014 March 24-27 and the National Association of Broadcasters NAB Show April 5-10. Last August Christie became the first to receive a US FDA approval of variance allowing the sale and installation of laser projectors in movie theaters and installed the world’s first commercial laser projection system at the Seattle Cinerama Theatre.
Hoyts Chile Converts to Digital Cinema with Christie Technology
Hoyts Chile, part of Grupo Chilefilms, will install Christie digital cinema technology in its 127 35mm theaters distributed across 23 complexes throughout the country. The technologies include Christie Solaria Series projectors, the Christie Avias-TMS theatre management system and select Christie Vive Audio cinema sound systems.

Broadway Circuit Achieves Near-Perfect Delivery Rate in 2013
Broadway Circuit, one of the largest cinema circuits in Hong Kong with 62 screens in 12 theatres has reported a film delivery rate of 99.99 percent in 2013. The theatre credited GDC Technology for its success in presenting more than 150,000 performances that year.
