On March 15 the Göteborg Film Fund is opening a call for submissions for development grants for filmmakers working within Ukraine. This is part of a bigger program for Ukraine, which was initiated in June 2022 with residency filmmakers working in Sweden, continuing with supports for dissemination and promotion of Ukrainian films, and development grants during the autumn.

The Motion Picture Sound Editors associated presented the 70th Annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards in a live ceremony held yesterday evening at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. When line producer Craig Fleming started looking at locations to film Cea Sunrise Person’s autobiographical book North of Normal, he knew it had to be a remote location.
