Broad Green Pictures is now using Hollywood Software’s TDS Distributor product for upcoming theatrical releases. Broad Green, which was founded last year by brothers Gabriel and Daniel Hammond, is a film production, financing and distribution company.
Woodland Hills-based Hollywood Software has signed an exclusive deal with independent entertainment studio, Group 1200, to utilize its TDS Distributor product for all upcoming theatrical releases. In the coming months five studios will release major feature films in Dolby Cinema, Dolby announced today. They include Sony Pictures’ Pixels, in theatres July 24; Paramount Pictures’ Mission: Impossible—Rogue Nation, in theatres July 31; Universal Pictures’ Everest, in theatres this September, and Lionsgate Entertainment’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 2, in theatres this November. They join titles soon to be announced by Twentieth Century Fox.
Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. has licensed MACCS Theatrical Distribution Software to run its domestic theatrical distribution. This marks the first time the studio has centralized its theatrical distribution operations under one technology platform.
The documentary feature film PlantPure Nation will premiere June 25 at The Arclight Hollywood. Written and directed by Nelson Campbell and including the producer and writer of Forks Over Knives, the 95-minute film examines the political and economic factors that suppress information on the benefits of plant-based nutrition, while making the connections of this idea to larger issues such as medical practice, farming, and food deserts. The film's story follows three people working to spread the word about one of the most important health breakthroughs of all time.
