Evergrande Cinema Line has selected GDC Technology as its technology partner for its cineplexes in China. GDC will provide approximately 300 SX-3000 Standalone Integrated Media Blocks and 30 Theatre Management Systems. As of August 13 systems have been deployed in 15 Evergrande cineplexes.
Transformers: Age of Extinction, a blockbuster produced by Paramount and Jiaflix was the highest grossing imported film in Mainland China for the first half of 2014. The movie is the China Movie Media Group’s first collaboration with a U.S. Studio, Paramount Pictures.
