FuseFX has added two experienced visual effects supervisors to its creative team in Los Angeles. Dan Levitan brings more than 80 credits as a supervisor and artist on motion picture and television projects spanning two decades. At FuseFX, he is VFX supervisor for the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, in addition to co-supervising the ABC drama Notorious.
Erwin Brothers Entertainment and Kevin Downes Productions, in association with the Oklahoma Film + Music Office will start principal photography November 30 on the feature film I Can Only Imagine in Oklahoma. The film is utilizing the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by OF+MO.

The Society is also accepting preorders for Magic & Miracles: 100 Years of Moving Image Science & Technology, a richly illustrated and meticulously crafted history of the Society and its groundbreaking work over the past century. The long-awaited sequel to the 2003 holiday cult classic, Bad Santa (directed by Terry Zwigoff), Bad Santa 2 is directed by Mark Waters (Vampire Academy, Mean Girls). Theo Van de Sande, ASC (Blade, Cruel Intentions, Wayne’s World) shot the dark comedy with Panasonic VariCam 35 4K cinema cameras. Comedy or not, Waters and Van de Sande wanted the film to have a darker look. For developing the look of Bad Santa 2, Van de Sande did not use any visual references, including the original Bad Santa (shot by Jamie Anderson).

Ymagis Group today reported its consolidated revenue figures for the third quarter of 2016 and first nine months of the 2016 fiscal year ended September 30. With third quarter 2016 revenue up +11.6 percent at €42.3 million, Ymagis Group reported a marked increase in sales during the first nine months of the 2016 fiscal year at €125.9M, representing an increase of +18.7 percent.
