Fandango Offers Map of Tarantino's L.A.

Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is leading the weekend’s ticket presales on Fandango and has outsold Tarantino’s previous titles in Fandango’s advance ticket sales. To celebrate the its release Fandango is launching a map of the film’s L.A. locations, while Fandango’s on-demand video streaming service, FandangoNOW, is hosting a playlist of movies that Quentin Tarantino screened for his crew to help inspire the ‘60s vibe of the film.

Lion King Remake Tops Fandango’s Ticket Pre-Seller List

Walt Disney's The Lion King leads Fandango’s weekend ticket sales with a chart-topping 99 out of 100 on the Fanticipation movie buzz index score. The Lion King adaptation now ranks as Fandango’s second best pre-seller of the year to date, surpassing Captain Marvel and following Avengers: Endgame in 2019’s advance tickets at the same point in the sales cycle, according to Fandango.

ICE Theatre Format Coming to L.A. in the Fall

French multiplex company CGR Cinemas has announced that the first ICE Theatre in the United States will be debuting this fall at Regal L.A. Live: A Barco Innovation Center in downtown Los Angeles. The ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) Theatre concept launched two-and-a-half years ago, combining state-of-the-art design and excellence in sound and image technologies with the revolutionary ICE sensorial experience.

CineLife Bringing Peanuts to Theatres this Summer

CineLife Entertainment, the event cinema division of Spotlight Cinema Networks, has partnered with CBS Home Entertainment as the exclusive theatrical distributor throughout North America for two Peanuts features: A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1969) and Snoopy, Come Home (1972). This is the first time the digitally remastered films have been available for theatrical bookings since their original release dates.
