Arts Alliance Media has announced a new software agreement with Ster-Kinekor Theatres, the largest movie exhibitor in South Africa. As the company seeks to centralize asset management and put an end to potential show interruptions, Ster-Kinekor will deploy Lifeguard, the cloud-based Network Operations Centre solution, to monitor 436 screens across South Africa, becoming first recipient of its new-look user interface and impressive suite of workflows and data points.
“We’ve worked with AAM for many years and have been impressed with their tools’ versatility,” saidMotheo Matsau, acting CEO of Ster-Kinekor Theatres. “As parts and consumables inevitably reach the end of their lifecycle, it’s imperative to learn and understand how to manage those time-frames to help maintain our schedule as intended and ensure no revenue is lost.”
Designed to make day-to-day theatre management smooth and error-free, Lifeguard presents exhibitors with their own NOC solution to help reduce the cost of operations, improve productivity, and deliver increased profitability.
By adding Lifeguard to a software suite that already includes AAM’s Screenwriter TMS, Ster-Kinekor will not only employ operational automation, but gain additional business intelligence from over 30 operational reports, enable comprehensive visibility through meticulous device monitoring, and identify issues early by measuring hardware performance.
Dale Miller, chief commercial officer at Arts Alliance Media said, “We’re delighted that Ster-Kinekor has chosen Lifeguard as their trusted NOC solution. This new software not only helps to manage assets and identify urgent issues but works to prevent cancelled shows and keep sites running smoothly.”
