Twain Richardson, a conform editor with credits spanning television, documentaries, advertising, and shorts, has joined Goldcrest Post. Bringing more than a dozen years of experience, Richardson has developed a broad skill set and a credit list that includes the Oscar-shortlisted documentary All In: The Fight for Democracy for Amazon Prime, the BAFTA-nominated documentary Becoming Cousteau for Nat Geo and the provocative documentary Britney vs Spears for Netflix.

OsiyoTV Earns Three Heartland Regional Emmy Awards

The Heartland Regional Emmy Awards recognized the Cherokee Nation’s Osiyo, Voices of the Cherokee People with three awards during the 2022 Emmys on Saturday, July 16. The tribe’s cultural television series, and the short documentaries within it, continue to be honored with numerous regional, national, and international accolades for its innovative approach to sharing the real-life stories of the Cherokee people.

Two Latinx Filmmakers Get NYWIFT Grants

New York Women in Film & Television will provide film production grants to El Pueblo vs. Austeridad / The People vs. Austerity and Coquito. The projects come from two of the 12 media making teams selected for Good Pitch Local Puerto Rico, where they pitched live from Puerto Rico via webcast to a group of advisors, with connections to non-governmental organizations, distributors, and foundations.
