Karo, one of Russia’s largest cinema chains, has a selected Barco Flagship Laser Projector from Cinionic, the Barco, CGS, and ALPD cinema joint venture, for its premiere hall at Moscow’s historic Karo 11 October cinema. Home to the Moscow International Film Festival and the preferred location for major movie premieres in Russia, the distinguished 1,500 seat hall is widely regarded as Russia’s leading movie premiere and festival site.

Nite Owl Theatre has created a laser projection drive-in cinema experience in the heart of Miami, Florida. Featuring a 53-foot screen, the Knight Foundation-backed theatre can accommodate between 65-70 cars per screening. This enables Miami area movie lovers to reconnect with the big screen from the safety of their car and ensures theater guests will enjoy enhanced visual experiences, with brighter higher quality images, while maintaining social distance in the new venue.

CCM Cinemas Installs Costa Rica’s First Laser Projectors

Costa Rican cinema chain CCM Cinemas has opened the country’s first movie theatre equipped with an RGB pure laser projector. The cinema, located at Plaza Occidente multiplex in San Ramón, the country’s second largest city, has installed a Christie CP2315-RGB projector, as well as Christie Vive Audio speakers and Dolby Atmos sound. Toho Cinemas Installs Cinionic Laser Projection in Tachikawa Location

Toho Cinemas has selected Cinionic laser cinema projection for its new Tachikawa location, which opened in September.
