The Odeon Cinemas Group has agreed to install seven Dolby Cinemas, marking the premium large format’s first implementation in the UK. Additionally, Odeon Cinemas Group has confirmed that Dolby servers, processors, and speakers will be utilized for all of its European entities going forward.
Cineworld Group says it will open 100 ScreenX locations at its theatres in the next few years. The technology combines digital cinema lobby signage with multi-player augmented reality technology to create mini attractions that engage patrons in thrilling entertainment before and after the feature presentation.
