Cinemeccanica, Milan, has announced that several of its products in the CineCloud family will be declared end of life as of May 1. Those products include the Server Single, Server Quad, Server Octal and IMB 24-10.
The company said that as a result it can no longer assure customers that spare parts for those products will be readily available.
Cinemeccanica ended by saying it was committed to providing its customers with “the necessary support [that] is required to maintain the operations by proposing the most appropriate technical solution.”
The company offered no explanation for this action and so far has not responded to our request for further comment.
