Panavision has introduced the Millenium DXL2 8K camera, which the company says is the heart of a complete imaging ecosystem designed from filmmakers’ perspectives. Les Cinémas Gaumont Pathé, the largest cinema chain operator in France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, has installed Dolby Cinema at Pathé Massy, south of Paris, and will open today. This marks the first Dolby Cinema in France, with Pathé Vaise in Lyon and Pathé Docks 76 in Rouen opening later this year.
